Helen was a homemaker who cared about the well being of everyone.  She loved to go camping and enjoyed pulling campers across the United States with DuWayne.  They were campground hosts in Storm Lake, Crawford Creek and Fort Pierre, South Dakota.  She enjoyed helping the children with special needs to fish in Pierre, South Dakota.

Helen was a longtime resident of the Good Samaritan Society in Holstein, where she loved to do ceramics and go on outings.  She always had to have her fingernails painted and her hair done each week. She enjoyed playing BINGO, going to the casino and fishing but made sure to have her lipstick on before going anywhere!

She is survived by her children, Randy Vogt of Galva, IA, Curt (Shirley) Vogt of Galva, IA Twila (Mike) Albers of Holstein, IA, and Mark (Mary) Vogt of Galva, IA; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Harold (Dori) Christianson of Sergeant Bluff, IA; brothers-in-law Tom Brown of Omaha, NE and Don Vogt of Oklahoma; sisters-in-law Marcelene Vogt of Dow City, IA and Colleen Ashfield of Oregon; and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, DuWayne; parents-in-law, Minnie and Jack Vogt; great-grandson, Lathen Rohlk; brothers Art Christianson and Harry Christianson; sisters, Esther Conway and Palma Conway; brother-in-law, Gary Vogt, sister-in-law, Yvonne Brown and Unabell Vogt.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Good Samaritan Society for the 11 years that Helen lived there; she loved everyone!
