Brant Alan Jeffrey

Brant passed away leaving behind a legacy as wild as the mountains he roamed and as steady as the trucks he drove. He lived life with a GPS set for the open highway and a heart tuned to the outdoors.

Brant was happiest with the fishing rod or a rifle in his hand. During the time he was a professional hunting and fishing guide he shared his deep love for nature with countless adventurers. He knew the mountains like the back of his hand tracking elk through dense timber and stalking mountain lions across rugged ridges. When winter froze the lakes, Brant didn't head indoors instead he packed up his gear for ice fishing proving that no temperature was too cold if there were fish to be caught.

Brant commanded the highway as a cattle hauler. He spent long nights and early mornings behind the wheel ensuring his livestock arrived safely. He possessed the grit, stamina and standard issue stubbornness required to handle big rigs and live cargo earning deep respect across the farming and ranching communities.

Brant was a passionate sports enthusiast. He loved playing baseball and football,but his true sports obsession was a silver star. Brant was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan riding the highs and lows of every football season with unwavering loyalty. 

Brant was also a walking encyclopedia. He possessed an incredible mind for history and trivia instantly recalling obscure dates, sports statistics and historical facts. Anyone brave enough to challenge him to a trivia game quickly learned they were playing for second place.

Brant was a man of the outdoors, a storyteller and a true original who lived life entirely on his own terms. His favorite saying was, “well you can’t fix stupid.” He will be deeply missed by his family, his friends and all those who shared a campfire or a long haul with him.
