Brenden J. Frye

Brenden J. Frye, age 15, of Cushing, passed away unexpectedly in a car accident on Saturday, May 9, 2026. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at the Church of Christ of Correctionville. A visitation will be held one hour prior starting at 12:00 P.M. at the Church of Christ of Correctionville. Following the service, the family invites everyone to the Correctionville Golf Club for a continued time of fellowship and sharing from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.

He was a warm-hearted, caring, sweet, and thoughtful boy who always wanted others to feel included. He never liked seeing anyone struggle or feel left out. Brenden had a wonderful sense of humor and was always making people laugh. He brought so much light, happiness, and love to those around him, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

Brenden's interests included fishing, farming, video games, especially Rocket League, music, spending time with friends, and his newly discovered passion for golfing.

He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Matt Frye and Sami Saxen; his younger brother, Brayden; and his younger sister, Brooklynn. He is also survived by his grandparents, Brian and Mary Frye, Blake Saxen and Lorie Wright; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his beloved wiener dog Bash.
