John C. Huecker Jr.

John C. Huecker, Jr., age 89, of Moville, passed away on June 6, 2026.

Born on May 25,1937, John was a dedicated family man and career electrician. John and Mona raised their family in Cresco, Iowa and he retired from Dairyland Power Cooperative. Following his retirement, he relocated to Naples, Florida, and ultimately Moville, Iowa, where he enjoyed his well-earned retirement years.

John is survived by his brother, Tom Huecker; his children: Sheryl Sovereign (Brian Lidtke), Steve (Traci) Huecker, and Shelly (Shane) Semmler; and grandchildren: Heather (Jeff) Van Winkle, Sarah (Brent) Holten, Serena (Chance) Dorsey, Elise Huecker, Sebastian Semmler, and Bailey Semmler.

Service arrangements will be shared by the family at a later date.
