Nancy C Smith

Nancy C. Smith, of Dakota Dunes, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at the UnityPoint Heath-St. Lukes-Downtown of Sioux City. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 10:30 A.M. at the Cornerstone World Outreach of Sioux City with the Pastor Cary Gordon officiating. Burial will be at Logan Park Cemetery of Sioux City. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. at the Cornerstone World Outreach of Sioux City.

She will be remembered as a generous and kind-hearted person who found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved pets. Nancy’s warmth, compassion, and giving spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She had a deep passion for animals and proudly supported Noah’s Hope. Nancy also enjoyed attending Cornerstone World Outreach Church.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Gideon Kirk, Irene Rickard, and Martin Rickard.

She is survived by her loving husband, Lew Smith; family members, Lisa Haldin (Troy), Elizabeth Zaino (Michael), Lorna Anderson, Debbie Yates (Tony), Sarah Campbell (Justin); Dylan, Kaden, and Finlee Campbell; Jackson Yates (Katelyn); Ila and Josie Yates, Edna Watts (Robert) Mindi Weeks (John) Bailey Cortez (Edgar) Sidney, Braxton and Samuel Weeks.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
