Rosemary "Muggs" Heath

Rosemary "Muggs" Heath, age 85, of Aurelia, formerly of Correctionville, passed away peacefully at her home with family on Wednesday, February 05, 2025. Funeral services will be held at a later date.

Muggs was born November 12, 1939 to John and Crystal Schmidt of Cherokee.  She married Roger Heath November 1, 1957 in Cherokee.  To this union three children were born.  They raised their family in Correctionville.  She worked many years at Correctionville Specialty Care.

She is survived by her daughters, Debra (Jeff) Lillefloren of Cherokee, IA, Janice (Mark) Cassel of Billings, MT; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; their son, John “Jay” Heath; her parents, John and Crystal Schmidt; two brothers, John and Jimmy Dale; two sisters, Marjorie “Tootie” Jensen and Lucille Kyle.
