Lori and Gail - difficult to imagine no longer seeing that impish smile and feeling the warmth of his presence. Mr. Lasher was my favorite Junior High Coach, and I know how much my Dad respected and liked him. As neighbors, we had an special bond - always rivals during MLB playoffs! He is with Ben and Mary now, and playing golf with God - still smiling I'm sure! I am deeply saddened by your loss.

I'm saddened to hear of Warrens passing! He was a very kind and caring man that went above and beyond to help my family when my husband passed away!He took up a memorial collection and brought it by personally ! He looked after my two first graders , and checked in with us often ! I'll always remember his kindness!

So sorry for your loss...I remember Mr. Lasher when I was in middle school in Sutherland. He was such a great principal...always a smile on his face! May God be with all of you during this time of sadness.

Please except my sympathy for both of you, Gail and Lori. I know neither of you know me but my Dad was Russ Kraai, long time teacher and coach at Holstein High School. My Dad always had the greatest respect for Warren. I never had Warren for a teacher, coach, or principle, but I visited with him often when my wife and I would visit my folks, who only lived a few doors away. His visits were always a pleasure and I enjoyed visiting with him very much. Again, my condolences to both of you.

"Mr. Lasher" was everyone's favorite teacher in Holstein. We were honored that he attended our 50th class reunion in 2014. Same warm smile and real interest in one's life. Oh, if only the world could be blest with more people like him. Have fun in God's kingdom, Mr. Lasher!

Lori,
So sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. I had the pleasure of having him as my principal in Sutherland and helping with our Iowa Fishing Day! Fondly remembering the Holstein 2 person golf tournaments that Ed and I played in with you and your Dad!
My prayers to you,
Jane Blair

Mr. Lasher was my favorite teacher and coach when I was in the 8th grade. It was wonderful to see him once again at my class reunion in 2015. He still had that twinkle in his eyes and charming smile. May you find peace in memories of a good man. God bless.
